The Gap

The main piece. One idea, fully developed. The psychology of avoidance, what starting actually costs, and why the path forward is closer than it feels.

The Work

Three specific things to do this week. Not motivation. Not inspiration. Things you can actually start today. Physical, mental, practical.

From The Project

A real member story. No polish. What they were avoiding, what changed when they started, and what it means for the rest of us.

This Week's Question

One question. No answer from me. You find your own. Hit reply. I read every single one. This is where the real conversations start.

Behind The Wire

What I'm training for, what's happening in the community, what's coming next. Life from the field. Unfiltered, real, honest.

Worth Your Time

One resource. A read, a watch, a listen. Only if I've actually used it and have something real to say about it. Never filler.

"

The hard path isn't hard because of what it demands. It's hard because of how long it's been avoided.

Who writes
this

Daryl Green is an ex-infantry soldier, PTI, and coach. He ran 230km across the Arctic Circle in -40°C, fully self-supported. He completed a self-reliant ski crossing of the Finnmarksvidda. He has climbed mountains across Europe and Africa, including Mont Blanc. He designed and completed TRI-M, a 1,000km triathlon raising money for the charities that helped him in his darkest period.

He is also the person who sat in tears at a marina in Athens, spent two years rebuilding from the bottom, and knows what it actually feels like to stop starting.

Limitless Weekly exists because the gap between who people are and who they intended to become is closable. Not through motivation. Not through hype. Through honest thinking and one step at a time.

The danger of waiting
until you're ready

Ran 18km with Hunter on Sunday. Cold. Wet. Every reason to stay in was available.

About 5km in, I started thinking about the person who messaged me last week. Eight months they'd been planning to start. Researching training plans. Buying kit. Waiting until work calmed down. Waiting until the kids were older. Waiting to be ready.

Here's the truth about ready: it doesn't come before the start line. It comes at mile three, when you're still going and you expected to have stopped.

The path isn't harder than you can handle. It's only harder because you've been putting it off. Avoidance compounds.
